ABOUT
Beverage Consulting Group LLC (BCG) was originally founded by Jim Bruton in 2010, a twenty-five-year veteran of PepsiCo who held various positions ranging from R&D to operations, technical services, and an executive position as Head of Quality for Pepsi Americas. After the merger of Pepsi Americas (PAS) with The Pepsi Bottling Group (PBG) to form Pepsi Beverages Company (PBC), Jim decided to pursue other interests including Head of Quality and Technical Services for a DoD contractor in Bagdad responsible for making bottled water for all the in-theater troops, a Quality position with Sonoco Packaging, and an executive Quality position with Graham Packaging. Jim later merged BCG with Design Group in York, PA, and has spent most of the past six (6) years supporting PepsiCo Packaging R&D and PepsiCo Packaging R&D Quality initiatives.
Recently, Jim has decided to leave Design Group and re-establish BCG as a woman-owned and operated consulting firm with his wife MarySue owning a 51% share of the firm and running the day-to-day operations with Jim providing the consulting services. BCG is a family-owned and operated consulting firm focused on providing exceptional excellence while exceeding all client expectations. Although BCG is currently relatively small, we plan to scale to meet the future needs of all our clients.
BCG provides new packaging development and commercialization consulting services, packaging quality expertise, beverage plant operational excellence consulting, facility acquisition due diligence consulting services, staff augmentation, and other consulting services as required by our clients.

MARYSUE BRUTON
Owner and Operator
MarySue is the Owner and Operator of BCG. She has a design background and has a wide array of experience with interior designs.
JIM BRUTON
Founder and Lead Consultant
Jim has provided excellence in the beverage and food industry for 40 years. He has been involved in every level of food and beverage consultation and packaging. He started out at Cadbury Schweppes as a Senior Process Engineer and has worked for the likes of PepsiCo as a Director of Quality, Graham Packaging as Director of Quality, and Barry-Wehmiller Design Group as Senior Project Manager and Client Leader since then. Jim has many certifications including: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ: Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Manager of Quality and Operational Excellence, eCornell Executive Leadership, Better Process Control School, Preventive Controls Certified Individual, HACCP Certified, and FSMA SME.
ZACH BRUTON
Packaging Technician
Zach is James newest hire and provides assistance as a Packaging Technician. He recently graduated from Harrisburg Area Community College. He has experience in HVACC and excels in technical positions.
ZOEY BRUTON
Creative Director
Zoey has experience in website design and development, social media management, administrative assistance, general management, education, and experience in the food and beverage industry. Zoey provides creative and administrative support to BCG.
